The basic screen sharing that can be done is the normal “Share Screen”, which display’s the presenter’s entire display, (for example, if you have a second monitor, this type shares both screens). Zoom can also share a specific application window, a user selected portion of the screen. To access the Sharing settings click the Share button at the bottom of the Zoom window:
This will open the Sharing window, which displays the basic types of screen sharing available, (don’t worry, we’ll talk about more white board)
To see the Advanced sharing options click the link in the header to change to the Advanced view:
View file sharing options the same way, (except you click the Files menu).
Whiteboard
Whiteboard is important and useful enough to get it’s own section, we’ll cover the basics here.
To open and share the whiteboard on a meeting click share, select whiteboard, and click share.
This will open the whiteboard with the toolbar on top, along with the sharing tools.
